Lauren Baldam

Lauren studied English Language and Linguistics at the University of Sheffield and she joined us for her year-long placement as a?Graduate Team Administrator.

Lauren Baldam

?

?
Following her placement year, she joined Centrica’s analyst graduate programme. Her first placement was in the Power Team as a business development analyst. During the graduate programme, Lauren experienced a wide breadth of roles in both upstream and downstream.?

During her year in the graduate team, Lauren worked mainly in the recruitment area - liaising closely with the attraction manager to organise on-campus activities and the selection manager to arrange assessment events. She also spent time with the graduate development team which allowed her to gain an understanding of all the different graduate programmes. This helped her to decide which programme was right for her.?

Despite moving into a completely different type of role, the skills Lauren developed during her placement year have already proved highly useful in her first analyst role.?
